I am currently supporting an HE client based in Berkshire who are looking for a Counsellor to support student's academic, emotional, social and behavioural concerns.
Essential Criteria
- Bachelor's or associate degree in counselling.
- Minimum of 1 year professional counselling experience (preferably in an educational field).
Are you confident in engaging with young people, facilitating group discussions exploring key issues that affect young people from personal concerns, and safeguarding topics to local and national themes?
Are you available to start a new role immediately on a temporary basis?

The Student Support and Wellbeing Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership to the Advice and Wellbeing teams to ensure that the student support services, policies and practices put students at the heart of everything they do.
As a pivotal part of the frontline team, the Counsellor & Wellbeing Adviser will support student's mental health and wellbeing through individual and group counselling, workshops, and drop-in services.
Student Services supports students at each stage of their journey from pre-entry to post exit.
