Business Analyst Location : Remote or Cambridge Contract: Permanent/Full time Overview We are currently looking for 2 Mid-level Business Analysts. One role is a maternity cover (up to 12months) and 1 is a permanent role. This is a critical role for us as a business and you will play a big part in it, working closely with the stakeholders across the business on varied projects. What we are looking for: Essential Skills: Solid understanding of business analysis principles, methodologies, and tools, with proven experience in defining project objectives and gathering and documenting business requirements. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex business problems, analyse data, and provide practical solutions. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial. As a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, you'll need to convey ideas clearly and collaborate effectively. Ability to research and analyse the organization's internal and external environment to formulate effective strategies. Experience in vendor sourcing, evaluating solutions, and writing RFIs (Request for Information) and RFPs (Request for Proposals) is highly valued. You'll play a pivotal role in selecting vendors and managing ongoing relationships. Experience with techniques such as stakeholder analysis, gap analysis, and feasibility studies. Desirable Skills: Ability to apply strategic analysis methods (Porter's five forces analysis, SWOT analysis, VMOST, PESTLE, value chain analysis, etc.). Competency in modelling techniques such as Activity Diagrams, Entity-Relationship Diagrams (ERDs), Sequence diagrams, and Process Flows (BPMN a plus).
