As one of our Warehouse and Stock Assistants you will be available to start ASAP, ensuring the safe and timely management of stock in and out of the site.
Due to increased workload, we require an additional Warehouse and Stock Assistant to support our busy warehouse and trade counter operations reporting into the Branch and Warehouse Managers.
You will be responsible for a specific set of products and client orders and will be working Mon to Fri 8.30am to 5pm with a 30 min lunch break, free parking, paid holiday and a modern and professional working environment.
JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for the administration of the buying cycle.Working closely with the Buying and Merchandising team to deliver sales stock and profit targets by providing accurateand timely administration to support the department and wider business.Partners with key stakeholders to ensure stock is delivered at the right time to allow stock to be in the right place, andat the right time across the store estate.

We are currently looking for a Stock Control Assistant for a 1 year fixed term contract.
This role will see you support the Stock Controller to ensure material supply meets our customer demand and factors in fluctuations in volume over time.
Reporting to the senior operations manager the duties include -
Working within the General Ledger team looking after your own set of accounts and 3rd Party stock.

This role is for 24 hours per week and aside from Monday being a fixed working day, we offer flexibility around the rest of the working week which can be scheduled to suit you.
This role requires someone who has a good understanding of Stock control and movements but is also able to analyse large data sets and improve processes.
