STOCK CONTROL ASSISTANT / WIRRAL / UP TO £30,000 + BENEFITS

Our client is a well established manufacturing company based on the Wirral, with an excellent reputation.

As they continue to grow, they are looking for an enthusiastic Stock Control Assistant.

Key Responsibilities of the Stock Control Assistant:

  • Using ERP - Action Works Order process through to completion - to include post production of works order by issuing of actual stock used and booking of finished goods and allocation of stock.
  • Update Sales orders to reflect actual stock (Finished goods) produced.
  • Carry out Stock Adjustments where necessary against all materials on works order through to completion.
  • Monthly perpetual inventory checks.
  • Reconcile stock checks and carry out investigations on discrepancies.
  • Process documents for authorisation to scrap stock.
  • Manage commercial aspects of stock control. Include updating stock that has been underwritten and invoiced to customers.
  • Produce monthly Usage Reports for Finance Manager
  • Manage stock contained within the reject and out of date warehouses.
  • Action requests by clients for stock checks and queries.
  • Check selling prices / supplements on Sales invoices held on Sage. Add to invoices as required.
  • Issue Sales invoices once goods have been despatched and pass to Sales Ledger for actioning.
  • Assist in the despatch of vehicles, to include Dangerous Goods documents, International Consignment notes, booking finished goods, and raising despatch/picking lists from SAGE

Skills & Experience:

  • Excel working knowledge and ability to use Excel
  • Excellent ability to understand data and draw conclusions from it
  • Ability to interrogate data
  • A good understanding of warehouse principles
  • Previous knowledge of inventory packages.
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a small team
  • A minimum of 3 years previous experience as a Stock Control Assistant
  • Effective communication skills, able to engage with a variety of stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
