Ambient Support, a registered UK charity with over 25 years' experience in providing care and support services for older people, people with a mental health needs and people with learning disabilities. Our residential care home, Swan House, is ideally situated in the heart of the community in Winslow, Buckinghamshire. It is an intimate home for Older People providing care and support to 32 residents. We can support a higher level of specific dementia care. This is a welcoming home from home environment. Our Housekeeper duties will consist of: Ensuring correct infection control is maintained. Use, store and service all machinery, appliances and equipment as instructed by the Home Manager Responsible for making sure all assigned areas of the home are clean, tidy, and neat, including communal areas as well as service user rooms/flats. This will include vacuuming, changing beds and cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, toilets, and lounges, as well as other duties as directed. To ensure that the cleaning and domestic services are responsive to the needs of the residents and do not infringe upon their privacy. To assist in the preparation and serving of all meals and to ensure that the catering service is responsive to the needs of those receiving meals, (if required) To respect the confidential nature of personal information To use and store all cleaning materials and domestic supplies in accordance with COSHH regulations so that waste is minimised, materials and supplies can be accounted for, and accidents are avoided. Our Housekeeper needs: Capability of undertaking manual handling tasks as a core requirement Basic literacy & numeracy Ability to work flexibly, responding to the needs of the service, ensuring that the home has staff cover, 365 days of the year. Demonstrate an awareness and understanding of the importance of confidentiality. Our residential care home, The Croft, is a community-based home for Older People in Amersham. We provide care and support to 60 residents, including up to 31 residents with a higher level of specific dementia care needs. This is a welcoming home from home environment offering regular activities and organised events. The role of our Administrator: To maintain appropriate and accurate petty cash and amenities records, and service users' personal money records. This will include visiting the bank to deposit or withdraw cash. To deliver and distribute all mail to staff and Service Users. Provide an effective and efficient telephone service to the general public and relatives/visitors to the home and pass on care issues to DRP or Manager. To collate information and ensure that timesheets and other documents relating to the payroll are processed and delivered within given deadlines. To provide appropriate admin systems as required for the accurate processing of invoices. Use care management systems to access and update residents' information, such as care plans, and to access and update other home data. Use computers to support individuals in their daily lives. Skills and attributes of our Administrator: The ability to work accurately with figures. To have the ability to follow and work to procedures and policy. The ability to work with vulnerable older people.
