£32,000 to £41,000 per yearHigh PeakTime Recruitment Solutions are excited to be working with a engineering and manufacturing company with specialisations in kettle controls, small domestic appliance connectors, bimetallic safety cut-outs and motor protectors and are based in the high peak.Now due to continued growth and a busy order book they are looking to expand and are looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Fitter to join the team.The successful candidate will be tasked with maintaining high speed semi-automated equipment producing thermostats and safety cut outs for the automotive industry.Ideally candidates should be qualified to a Level 3 in a mechanical or electrical discipline, either BTEC, C&G or NVQ, have served a formal apprenticeship and be able to demonstrate: a mechanical/technical background and good general mechanical aptitude a methodical approach to their working practices with a keen eye for detail excellent team work skills and self-motivation flexibility to maintain the integrity of the process and high quality components competence and experience of maintaining automated pneumatic and cam-driven assembly equipment experience of operating in a busy manufacturing environment good problem solving skills and the ability to analyse machine performance, identify and correct faults quickly and accurately a certain degree of computer literacy (although fundamentally a 'hands on' practical role)Benefits: Additional leave Cycle to work scheme Life insurance On-site parking Private medical insurance Sick paySchedule: 8 hour shift, 3 Rotating Shifts 6 - 2, 2 - 10 and 10 - 6 Monday to Friday Night shift OvertimeWorking Hours: 38 hours per week on a rotating 3 shift system 06:00 - 14:00 & 14:00 - 22:00 & 22:00 - 06:00 Monday to Friday.
