This job would suit a knowledgeable, experienced and commercially astute Revenue Manager to join the US Revenue Management team. This dynamic and leading global lifestyle accommodation brand across European capitals and is now making its way across the pond in the biggest American cities including New York and Miami. The successful individual will have at least 5 years' revenue management experience having looked after a cluster of US hotels within key city locations. You will excel in interpersonal interactions and have a proven track record in implementing growth strategies for the business. They will be technically proficient with the full range of hospitality systems; e.g. Property Management Systems, Revenue Management Systems, Channel Managers and Microsoft Office product. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role. Job responsibilities: Report to the Head of Revenue Management and work closely with the General Manager, Sales and Reservation teams of the area you are looking after. Analyse trends in data to develop winning revenue management strategies and outperform your competitive set. Maximise total revenue of the property through business mix optimisation and rate manipulation. Provide ongoing insight about revenue performance of your area to all stakeholders. Forecast demand per market segment for your area and provide supporting commentary to the management. Produce annual budgets per segment; participate in the process of delivering the annual sales & marketing plan. Manage the overbooking strategies for your area to maximise occupancy levels. Monitor and control all functions of the revenue management system and the accuracy of the reporting solution. Liaise with your colleagues from e-commerce, distribution and marketing to drive additional business. Our client is looking for an experienced Revenue Manager to join the team on a permanent basis as Senior Cluster Revenue Manager, working remotely with some travel. This job would suit an experienced Revenue Manager to be responsible for a cluster of properties ensuring effective revenue and rate management techniques across the portfolio. The company is a market leader with sites across the UK and instantly recognisable brands as part of their portfolio. The business is committed to staff development and recognises and rewards high performance and commitment to the brand. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of all relevant distribution channels, from GDS through to OTA's with ability to influence channels to benefit the property. They will have good understanding of IDeaS or similar revenue management systems, as well as Opera. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel is also essential for this role. Duties will include: Produce a detailed day by day monthly room forecast on a weekly basis. The forecast to be produced for a minimum of 90 days weekly and 365 days monthly. Oversee the detailed M&E forecast on a weekly basis and ensure this ties in to the M&E strategy set for the hotel. Produce a detailed daily budget plan on an annual basis for 365 days. Consistently review hotels daily pricing in respect of direct competitors/pace of demand Ensure hotel maintains and grows RGI% change at a level above that seen within the local competitor set. Ensure rates are set at an appropriate level, across all relevant distribution channels/systems based on detailed analysis. Set pricing across all market segments in conjunction with sales & general managers Understanding and influencing revenue related relationships to the benefit of the business, both internal and external.
