We are seeking a dedicated Locality Social Worker to join the team on a full-time basis.
In this hybrid role, you'll have the opportunity to work from home up to two days a week, providing essential support to local children in need, child protection, and children in care.
As a key member of the team, you will utilise your expertise in social work to carry out various responsibilities, including duty home visits, safeguarding planning meetings, and telephone triage.
A well rated charity in South West England is in search of a Qualified Social Worker for a Child Protection Team paying a competitive hourly rate paying £40-£45 per hour depending on experience.
Currently the authority have staff in place covering the workload, however this vacancy is a result of a drive to increase the amount of staff and further bolster stability through the service.
The authority will provide all the necessary equipment laptops, mobile phones etc so you can work from home efficiently.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the learning and development of children with additional needs, including those SEMH (Social and Emotional Mental Health) and Challenging Behaviours.
The ideal candidate will be available to work Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm, five days a week.
You will work closely with the classroom teacher to ensure that every child receives the support they need to succeed.
