Payroll Administrator Hourly Rate: £14 Location: Colindale Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (3 months) We are currently seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our clients Human Resources team on a temporary basis for 3 months. This role offers an hourly rate of £14 and is based in Colindale. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing employee data, ensuring the accuracy of monthly payroll data, and guaranteeing that employees are paid correctly and on time. Responsibilities: Provide information and answer employee questions regarding payroll-related matters. Manage electronic timekeeping systems or manually collect and review timesheets. Calculate payable hours, commissions, bonuses, tax deductions, and other payroll transactions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records. Coordinate with the HR team to ensure correct employee data. Provide administrative assistance to the HR department as needed. Process and finalise the monthly payroll. Maintain an effective electronic filing system for HR records and associated documentation. Assist in processing documentation for starters and leavers in a timely manner for payroll purposes. Input and update new starter information, employment changes, and staff updates onto the HR system with high attention to detail. Upload pension files for payment on a monthly basis. Offer advice and guidance to employees on payroll queries. Prepare statistical and other reports associated with payroll and pensions as required. Assist in the annual payroll audit and checking of basic payroll data entry. Required Skills & Qualifications: Previous experience in payroll administration. Familiarity with payroll software and timekeeping systems. Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to handle confidential information. Good communication skills and the ability to provide clear guidance on payroll matters. Proficiency in using HR information systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
