Assistant Relationship Manager Job Type: Hybrid Location: London Reed Banking are seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager to provide vital support to an established Relationship Management team. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in financial services, particularly in the Real Estate space. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and managing intermediary channels, providing mortgage lending support, and supporting various functions within the business. Day to day of the role: Support the Relationship Management team in developing and managing direct intermediary channels for mortgage business referrals. Work collaboratively with the Business Development Management team and support all functions as needed. Assist in managing a diverse portfolio of loans secured on real estate to achieve business targets. Handle underwriting annual reviews and renewals of existing facilities. Manage client enquiries, the RM mailbox, and monitor the receipt of Buildings Insurance and Confirmation of Repayment Strategies. Monitor limits exceeded and excess reports, as well as financial and non-financial covenant compliance. Gather background information for the preparation of property-related credit applications and assist with their completion. Create new client files and carry out lending reviews. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven track record in a similar role within the financial services industry. At least 2 years of experience with information systems in a financial institution. Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication. Willingness to travel as necessary for the role. CeMAP qualification or currently working towards it.
