Our client is a a growing legal firm who are based in Liverpool and are situated near public transport links. They are looking for a Property Post Completion Paralegal who will be able to support a vibrant team of conveyancing Solicitors with setting up and dealing with completion and post completion matters. This role is positioned within an experienced property team who pride themselves on providing specialist advice whilst striving to exceed client's expectations. This role will provide post completion and administrative support so candidates must have knowledge of dealing with property clients and transactions, Land Registry applications, SDLT returns, and case management platforms. Main duties: Assisting with all post-completion matters in both commercial and residential property transactions. Liaising with clients, solicitors, lenders and staff. Preparing and submitting SDLT returns and Land Registry applications. Dealing with requisitions raised by the Land Registry. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records. Dealing with pre-exchange of contract work. Handling completions. Assisting in the drafting of legal document's. Managing task list in an efficient and organised manner. Resolving clients' queries through face to face contact, on the telephone, by email or in writing. Financial administration, balancing ledgers, and files, preparing completion statements and investigating and resolving anomalies and discrepancies. Candidate requirements: At least 2 years of experience as a Property Paralegal. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) Be highly organised with the ability to work to deadlines Ability to work well in a team and independently. Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task efficiently. Have excellent typing/IT skills Experience of case management systems, laser forms and land registry as well as Microsoft Office Confidence in Land Registry filing and completing Land Registry forms Preparing and submitting stamp duty land tax forms to HMRC A calm, helpful and professional approach The successful candidate will be confidant working within a thriving dynamic, solutions-driven team who value their strong and supportive office-based culture. This role would suit a candidate with a minimum of 2 year's experience as a property paralegal, who is keen to develop their skills and knowledge in a business law firm. You will also have a proactive and flexible attitude with the ability to support inspiring and challenging stakeholders. Furthermore, you will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be a confident communicator. You will be diligent, have outstanding attention to detail and be experienced in using the full Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) and case management systems. In return the salary will be up to £24,000. Monday to Friday 9.00-5.00pm, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension scheme and other benefits available.
