Main Duties: As a Assistant Accounts Assistant - Property, your main duties include: Making sure clients' financial transactions run smoothly every day. Checking client funds regularly to keep everything accurate. Setting up payment plans that follow the rules and deadlines in contracts. Sending out payments from tenants. Quickly and professionally dealing with questions from inside and outside the company. Assisting to put together monthly reports on contracts. Watching over and working with the Accounts Payable team. Creating and updating the rules for operations. Keeping our systems up to date ad accurate to support other departments. Working with clients and tenants, giving them the information they need. Location / Office / Culture The role is hybrid, with 2/3 days in the office, additionally they are flexible and allow you to come in less at month end. Title - Property Accounts Assistant - 10 month FTC maternity contract Location - London £28-£32K Office based The role: A property Accounts Assistant role with Credit Control Duties:- Producing arrears reports each building Responsible for the credit control function Liaising with leaseholders and Property Managers re: arrears and any other relevant queries Processing supplier invoices which includes gaining authorisation, posting them and making the payments Assisting with the quarterly budget v actual. Sending out quarterly demands and ground rent invoices Posting client receipts Performing monthly bank reconciliations Filing and archiving Requirements:- Will ideally have previous background experience in property management accounting and have worked in a similar environment.
