The Opportunity Due to continued business growth and development of the Advisory sector, our client has a new role for a Project Planner (scheduler) to join our busy group in London. You will work as a Project Planner and develop programmes (schedules) in P6 and MS Project as directed by the Project Manager or the needs of the project team. You may work on one key project at a time for a long period or have multiple projects and be moved over to the next serving our business requirements. This will mean working on different projects and possibly involve travel to different locations for on-site meetings. You will be involved in projects across our client UK, which can include large public infrastructure projects relating to roads, highways, and rail, as well as building structures in the commercial and healthcare sectors. You will support the growth of the Project Controls team by ensuring collaborative working with the team and delivering work to the correct standards expected of this role and seniority. You will also coordinate and lead the project team to create a robust, logically linked, resource, cost-loaded schedule from scratch for our clients. Communicate with DNOs and connection providers, and oversee land transfers, easements, and licensed areas. Oversee staff and contractors in network design, construction activities, and maintenance of network records. The Person: Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering preferred. Professional registration with the IET or an equivalent body. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with a DNO, IDNO, or in a related consultancy role. Proficient in electrical distribution systems, including LV, HV, and EHV.
