Project Manager
The decommissioning & projects team manage a range of small to medium sized projects related to nuclear decommissioning, building, demolition, installations and refurbishment each with a budget in the range of £0.5M to £50M the role is to provide full Project Management of a number of internal & external projects.
Assist with Planning and scheduling work supporting the wider team in delivering small sized projects and work packages as part of the wider B300 programme.
Provides technical support to the the wider team which includes but is not limited to:
JOB PURPOSE
To provide a range of technical and practical project support to the UNS Project & Construction Team, including but not limited to assistance to the Construction Site Team and their day to day deliverables, ensuring the construction site and working area is kept in a secure and safe condition, escort duties, control of transport, assistance to the Clerks of Works in respect of quality records & checking, administrative support , rollout and maintenance of the construction team's Obeya Centres and other activities undertaken by the department.
Ensure adequate definition of scope, time and costs associated with the project in line with customer expectations.
General
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Project Manager to work our client at their customers facility in Cheshire, this is an exciting opportunity involved in ensuring delivery of projects managing cost and quality; whilst acting as the link between customers and business.
The role will be heavily involved in coordinating the various areas of the organisation involved in accordance with the provisions of the project management process and would suit someone who has a technical engineering background and a proven track record in supporting design teams and stakeholder management.
The role objective is to ensure that construction, demolition and decommissioning works are carried out to specification and by safe working methods.
The role holder will be required to supervise the activities of personnel carrying out works for UNS (which includes employees, ASW and contract workers) on a day to day basis to ensure that all activities are executed in a safe, cost effective and reliable manner inline with legislative and company procedures.
The role holder shall work closely with the wider UNS team to support the characterisation, monitoring and transfer of waste.
We are urgently seeking a Paraplanner to join an existing team providing Paraplanning support to a number of Advisers within the Business.
You will work closely with the Advisory team to design, develop, and implement comprehensive financial plans that exceed clients' expectations.
