About the Role: The technical support engineer is a customer-facing role that ensures customers enjoy long term satisfaction with our products and services. You will work with customers to understand their evolving needs and will help to introduce continuous improvements through modifications and minor design changes to existing products and services. The technical support engineer is concerned with the redesign, redevelopment, and engineering necessary for preserving an equipment's capabilities in accordance with the requirements at the performance level the customer expects and includes the work necessary to maintain the design and manufacturing data and reference equipment. The technical support engineer may also be used for minor enhancements such as meeting new/safety legislation, reducing in-service support costs, or addressing obsolescence. Whilst the majority of the technical support engineer's role will be focused on the delivery of on-contract projects, the role will also require active participation in fault investigations, process improvements and bid preparation to ensure what is being bid can be delivered. Production Engineer Walsall SF Recruitment are recruiting for a Production Engineer who will be responsible and accountable for providing electrical designs, production engineering information, supporting the NPI process and delivering relevant production engineering information in line with manufacturing start dates. The role: Engineers will support the organization's manufacturing processes, provide detailed information and technical support at all stages of the manufacturing process. The function will also be to support other team members and provide guidance to apprentices to achieve their goals and continually strive for better results. The Production Engineer will drive continuous improvements within the area through the SQCDP measures, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. Key Responsibilities: Communication. - Contribute to morning SQCDP meetings and further daily communication with the team to ensure clear communication of targets and objectives. - Build and maintain direct relationships with internal and external customers, providing clear communication on all aspects of day-to-day operations. Safety. - Collaborate with the H&S officer and committee to reduce risks in the area through highlighting safety concerns for new product introduction, through effective project planning. - Ensuring Safe working environment for staff.
