About the Commercial and Procurement Officer role
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service (LFRS) is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Commercial and Procurement Officer.
The buyer will be responsible for the purchasing and a procurement service for components, materials, services and subcontract manufacturing to ensure the continuity of supply at acceptable levels of quality, stock availability and cost.
My client are looking for a Technician (Purchasing & Plant) to provide supply chain management and a compliant procurement service for Highways Delivery.
The successful candidate will manage the hiring, leasing, or purchasing of plant and/or materials required for the delivery of revenue and capital programmes of highway works, as well as manage the stock, distribution, and maintenance service history of owned plant items.
This role will involve Purchasing for both the Production & Development teams, reviewing requirements from production, ensuring stock levels are correct and negotiating with new suppliers.
This is a Hybrid role on a permanent basis, the salary on offer will be between £43,000 - £47,000 DOE.
