Procurement Assistant Annual Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Location: Northfleet, Kent Job Type: Full-time We are seeking a Procurement Assistant to join our team and provide essential support to our Procurement Department. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of the purchase to pay process and a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position. The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment, managing procurement requirements and inventory control. Day to day of the role: Assist the department with procurement requirements using the SAP purchasing system. Manage and control stock inventory effectively. Expedite Purchase Requisitions against the approved vendor database. Maintain the SAP pricing data system accurately. Provide cover for the Inventory & Stores Coordinator during annual leave and sickness. Required Skills & Qualifications: At least 2 years' experience in a procurement role. Good understanding of the purchase to pay process. Strong Microsoft Office skills. Educated to A level or equivalent. Willingness to work towards achieving a Diploma (Level 4) in CIPS. Excellent communication skills at all levels. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Counterbalance and reach truck license is desirable (or be willing to obtain).
