Post Title: Secretary Salary: £26,500 per annum Working Location: Bicester (entirely site based) Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm Contract: Permanent Equation Recruitment are looking for a Secretary on behalf of a well-established Care Home in Bicester. For this position, you will require a background in administration (ideally as a secretary), alongside proven working experience in customer service and an empathetic nature, due to the industry. Secretary Responsibilities: Ensuring that all records are maintained and stored in accordance with The Data Protection Act 1998 and General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) 2018 Treating all matters with due confidentiality, in relation to residents, staff and the company Recording admissions, deaths & discharges Creating new forms, sign's/notices/posters as required Booking residents appointments and transport where necessary Administrative support to Matron and Nursing wing Updating Policies & Procedures as instructed by Matron Enter staff rota onto CIVICA Keeping CIVICA updatedBooking staff holidays & logging absences Keeping records filed Photocopying Producing activity sheets for up & downstairs Sending all appropriate notices to CQC, Continuing Healthcare, DoL's and Safeguarding Informing Health Centre of admissions, deaths and discharges Scan and email MAR charts to Bicester Health Centre and send original copies to Superdrug Supporting Matron with the rota to cover shifts Checking new staff with DBS. Essential Experience: Confident understanding or the English language. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Comfortable using a computer on a daily basis. Knowledge of Word and Excel Prior experience in an administrative position. Desirable Experience: Good Telephone manner Organisational skills Knowledge of Civica preferred - not essential as training will be given.
