Sales Administrator Monday - Thursday 8:30 am - 5 pm with flexible working times Friday - 8:30 am - 12.45 pm £25,000 per annum - £27,000 per annum DOE Hybrid working pattern of three days in the office and two days from home. My client is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Sales Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment and possess a diverse product knowledge. This role involves responding to customer sales enquiries, managing stock control systems, and maximising sales opportunities. Benefits: Annual bonus currently 6 % of salary (non- guaranteed), payable in two instalments, June and December. 38.25 hours per week 8.30 am to 5.15 pm, Monday to Thursday and 8.30 am to 3.30 pm on Fridays with 45 minutes for lunch. 31 days holiday per annum rising to 33 after two years (inc BH's). Pension Scheme. Long Service Awards. Early finish Friday. Free car parking. Day to Day of the role: Respond to customer sales enquiries via telephone, email, fax, or quotation in a timely manner. Use the internal stock control system to quote prices and advise on delivery timescales for items in stock. Provide accurate and up-to-date product and parts information to customers. Take sales orders from customers and liaise with internal functions such as Procurement, Sales Order Processing, Production Control, and Assembly as necessary. Source pricing and delivery options from external suppliers/manufacturers for both franchised and non-franchised products. Support field-based sales representatives and maximise sales on related component accessories. Follow up on quotations and negotiate pricing terms in accordance with company procedures. Provide support with Sales Order Processing, covering for holiday/sickness periods when required. Undertake other tasks to ensure the smooth running of the Department. Required Skills & Qualifications: Computer literacy and familiarity with stock control software/systems. Excellent telephone manner and effective communication skills. Good numeracy skills for accurate pricing calculations. Knowledge of electro-mechanical components is an advantage. Willingness to learn new skills quickly and deliver excellent customer service. Ability to respond positively to pressure and work flexibly with attention to detail. Capability to work unsupervised and on own initiative.
