Key Responsibilities: Use psychoanalytic psychotherapy to assess and treat the child or young person using a variety of creative approaches to suit the individual. Develop and implement individualised intervention plans to provide psychotherapeutic treatment to children and young people, either individually or in a group. Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapeutic support into the learning environment and facilitate their participation in school. Provide ongoing monitoring and evaluation of intervention effectiveness, adjusting plans as necessary to optimise outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, case notes, and intervention plans in accordance with regulatory standards and LCP policies. Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings to contribute expertise and ensure coordinated care for students with complex needs.
