We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Administrator to work in a family-run construction company, based in lovely offices on the outskirts of Orpington.
The role will varied and interesting and you will be working in the accounts team assisting with account queries, dealing with stock purchases, tracking orders, creating PO's, costs analysis, looking at prices and ensuring best price, liaising with clients, using inhouse systems, and all admin duties
Due to the location of the office - ideally you need to drive as they are not near many public transport links
As a Purchase Ledger Accounts Administrator, you will be an integral part of a small accounts team, handling approximately 250 invoices per week using cloud-based construction-specific software alongside Sage50 Accounts.

Checking and entering all purchase orders and invoices into the company's costing and accounting systems.

My client is looking for an Administrator to work in a busy Quality Control Department for an Import Company with responsibility for the daily review of purchase orders, with a view to releasing order confirmations provided products meet relevant compliance requirements and satisfactory product assessments throughout sampling stages.
As the Administrator your duties will include overseeing orders from their initial release until goods are delivered into our warehouse, updating of internal systems, collating and filing of production information and checking compliance reports and arranging new testing where applicable.
