As a result of proAV's continued global success, we are looking for a logistics Specialist to join our in-house transportation operations team to support our domestic and international projects.
Your primary role will be ensuring products and consumables are transported locally and globally in strict compliance with all relevant import and export laws and regulations, in the most cost effective and efficient way.
Office based role working 40 hours per week, 9 hour day between 7am-6pm, usual shift 8.30am-5.30pm with 1 hour lunch, Monday- Friday.
Monitoring of inland transit (port to warehouse/customer) to gain early visibility for issues including stock availability, demurrage and KPI impact
In this role you will be required to provide assurance to inbound logistics related data and processes by ensuring information is captured in a timely manner and any insight gained is quickly shared or acted on by the team and key internal and external stakeholders.
IBP are currently recruting for a Plant, Fleet and Logistics Assisatnt.
The role will also involve oversight and tracking of vehicles, as well as the various assets and other equipment used.
The first part of your role will be working closely alongside our Transport Team to ensure all vehicles are kept in a safe, roadworthy and legal condition, to maintain compliance with all relevant regulations, company policies and rules.
Material Identification: Analyse production schedules and forecasts to identify required materials accurately.
Supplier Communication: Maintain effective communication with suppliers to convey requirements, monitor delivery status, address concerns, and resolve issues promptly.
Procurement Collaboration: Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure contractual agreements are accurately reflected in the ERP system.
