Position: Inbound Logistics Analyst
Location: Chertsey
Salary: £30,000 plus benefits and bonus scheme
Duration: Permanent
Hours: Monday- Friday, 9:00am- 5:30pm

Overview of an Inbound Logistics Analyst
In this role you will be required to provide assurance to inbound logistics related data and processes by ensuring information is captured in a timely manner and any insight gained is quickly shared or acted on by the team and key internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities of an Inbound Logistics Analyst

  • Monitoring of inland transit (port to warehouse/customer) to gain early visibility for issues including stock availability, demurrage and KPI impact
  • Monitoring of 3PL and LSP data outputs and consolidation of the same to SDSE/SEUK formats where necessary with a focus on data accuracy
  • Troubleshooting of Automatic Shipping Notices (ASNs) to ensure smooth goods receipt processes at warehouses as well as on virtual goods receipt
  • Trend analysis for direct deliveries across domestic appliances, TV/AV and mobile categories
  • Inventory coordination of virtual storage locations to ensure accuracy of direct delivery stock positions
  • Prevention and resolution of stock discrepancies via routine stock checks and reporting
  • Responsibility for SAP, Cello and GLP inbound data with the goal of ensuring consistency
  • Preparing and formulating raw data for reporting and forecasting purposes

Key competencies of an Inbound Logistics Analyst

  • Bachelor degree in Logistics/SCM OR relevant work experience
  • Good MS Excel skillset including lookups, pivot tables and IF statements as well as an eagerness to learn more
  • Aptitude for numbers
  • Attention to details
  • A proficient level of English
  • Advantage if you have experience with SAP and TMS systems.
