About the role Sytner Leicester has an exciting opportunity available for an Apprentice Vehicle Technician to join their talented team. As a Sytner Apprentice Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing motor vehicles to the high standards of the BMW brand. You will be working in a busy BMW workshop during your apprenticeship and have the opportunity to work on the latest cars, engines and diagnostic equipment, ultimately leading to the ability to undertake maintenance, service and repair activities on vehicles once fully qualified. Your apprenticeship training will take place over a 3 year period and will compromise of classroom and workshop based learning, this includes off-the-job training at the BMW Academy. You will also receive the support from a mentor who will oversee the work-based learning programme. Sytner Apprentice Technicians work a variety of flexible patterns which can typically include weekends to ensure we provide our customers with the highest possible levels of service. About You If you have a keen interest and enthusiasm for automotive vehicles and the automotive industry as a whole then we would like to hear from you. No experience is needed for this role; however we are looking for someone who has a positive attitude and work ethic with a willingness to learn. Ideally you will have the ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as having the capability to follow instructions and work individually. About the role Leicester Audi currently has a great opportunity available for a MET Technician to join our talented team. As a Sytner MET Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs on vehicles. You must have the ability to competently carry out repairs to a high level of quality in set timescales. You will remove and refit Mechanical and Electrical Trims/panels/components on vehicles and ensure the repairs are to a very high standard. Sytner MET Technicians work a variety of flexible patterns which can typically include weekends to ensure we provide our customers with the highest possible levels of service. About You Previous experience as a MET Technician is essential. Experience in a similar Bodyshop environment is beneficial as we are looking for an individual who has the ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who is passionate to deliver the highest possible standard of repair with strong attention to detail. Strong time management and organisational skills are also required as you will ensure that assigned jobs are completed within estimated times.
