Located at the heart of their school, Canford's Library opened in September 2021 and plays an essential role in supporting the curriculum and research as well as promoting independent learning, literacy and a love of reading.
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Librarian to lead and manage the Schools Library from September 2024.
We are specifically working with a 'Good' secondary school in North Manchester as a librarian, on an ongoing basis, likely to be for the full academic year on a full-time basis.
This role will be term time plus an additional 5 days.
School Librarian / School Library Assistant with experience of working with and motivating young people to engage, excellent communication skills, who is a champion of literacy is required to join a well-established Academy Trust based in Hedge End, Southampton, Hampshire.
Training Provided - Whilst previous experience in a similar role is desirable, it is not essential for this role as training will be provided.
