We are working with our fantastic client based in Ashby-de-La-Zouch who are looking for a Legal Secretary initially on a temporary basis. The main purpose of the role is to provide administration support to the conveyancing team that deal with high volume workloads. You will be getting involved with clients & the drafting of documents too. To be considered for the Legal Secretary role, you'll require the following: Proven experience working as a legal secretary ideally within conveyancing Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications and case management systems Confident & professional telephone manner Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal Strong organisational skills with fantastic attention to detail Within this Conveyancing team, you'll also be: Handling incoming calls in a professional manner Taking messages accurately & passing them on the relevant person/department Liaising with clients via phone, email and face to face Managing diaries for the fee earners, making appointments & arranging meetings Opening and monitoring case files within the CRM system Preparing correspondence and documents through audiotyping Tracking attendance and updating on the system Providing support to other secretaries where required Carrying out general admin duties such as scanning, photocopying, printing, and filing Ensuring confidentiality at all times Salary & Working Hours and Benefits Salary is £12 - £14 per hour, dependant on experience Working hours are Monday Friday, 9am 5pm with 1 hour lunch break 23 days holiday, plus bank holidays, plus Christmas shut down period Life assurance death in service benefit Annual performance related bonus scheme New employee referral incentives Company sick pay Professional development --- Talk Staff Recruitment is an established division of Talk Staff Group and works with companies throughout the East Midlands and UK with roles including many areas such as: Accountancy & Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Contact Centre, and Office Support.
