Duration of assignment: 3 months temporary with potential to become permanent
Our client is looking for an experienced Housing Enforcement Officer to join them on an interim basis for three months initially, with the potentially opportunity of a permanent role.
The purpose of the post is to provide operational housing maintenance services to enable the continuing improvement of the service.
Under the direction of designated Repairs Officer, the post holder will undertake variety of work including inspections, repairs, servicing, improvements and replacement items in accordance with job orders work programme supplied.
There is a special emphasis on improving the quality of customer service and the ad hoc repair service overall.
We are looking for a Customer Support/Contact Center Administrator who can join our client on an initially 2 month contract, starting from the 7th of May.
This could become a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Candidate
A thorough working knowledge and understanding of current housing law, such as the Housing Act 1996, Parts VI and VII, Homelessness Act 2002, Localism Act 2012, Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 and immigration law as it applies to housing eligibility, relevant code of guidance and case law.
Ability to interview applicants skilfully and sensitively to elicit as much information as possible, give the appropriate advice and make informed decisions.
The goal is to offer an efficient, high-quality advisory, informational, and enforcement service for houses in multiple occupation (HMOs), ensuring they are well-managed, safe, and habitable, and that all licensable HMOs obtain the necessary licensing.
