NextGen Teachers are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a School in Harrogate who are looking for an Advanced Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible on a full-time permanent basis supporting children with SEMH needs.
The successful candidate will have not only a strong set of skills to support children with advanced needs, but also have qualities and experience that are at an advanced level.
Our academic team enjoy a collaborative approach to Learning and Teaching by supporting each other in the planning, delivery and evaluation of our programmes and modules' content.

You will be involved in classroom duties and off-site recreational activities.
Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational programs and activities for students.
Empowering Learning are working with an SEMH school in Harrogate who are seeking an Unqualified Teaching Assistant to support in their learners in and outside of the classroom.
These sessions can take place in schools, care homes, foster homes, libraries etc.
As a tutor/mentor you would be required to offer support to the student from a couple of hours to multiple sessions a week and be required to complete weekly feedback forms on the student's progress, achievements, behaviour, and self-esteem/confidence.
We are looking for dedicated tutors to work 1-2-1 with CLA (Children Looked After).
