Learning & Development Specialist What you will enjoy doing This is an exciting brand-new opportunity within the BOC business to deliver their vision of a competency based upskilling programme for all our employees across a key area of their business Starting with a learning needs analysis, across the whole organisation you will identify competency learning requirements As the team's lead user of their learning system, you will create training profiles for all roles across the organisation, ensuring they are embedded as part of the system You will collaborate with the business and 3rd parties to design and deliver a range of comprehensive learning and development programs for all employees, at all levels You will develop, maintain and ensure the delivery of their induction and new starter training ensuring all learning delivered has been assessed to ensure understanding and competence In addition, you will work with people from the wider team and organisation, you will design and capture competency metrics to enable you to monitor trends and progress This role also gives you the exciting opportunity to work with their global and Europe, Middle East, and Africa teams to share best practice and take forward successful learning programmes into the UK & Ireland Lastly, they are passionate about learning being more than just completion of a course, so, you will develop a system to monitor completions but also to assess competencies to reduce knowledge depletion, manage risk and help to ensure the best working practices What makes you great You have at least five years' experience within a learning and development role, with evidenced delivery of new training program development, delivery and performance improvement You are passionate about developing, inspiring others and the design and delivery of learning. You have experience designing training content or working with 3rd parties to design and deliver training programs. In addition, you are a self-starter who thinks strategically with the ability to turn ideas in to a robust project plan and deliver results. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach and the ability to influence at all levels If you have experience working with a Learning Management System, this would be an advantage
