You'll prepare relevant legal paperwork for cases including injunctions, possession and access, as well as represent the organisation at court hearings where required.
You will be responsible for actively managing a caseload of ASB & tenancy fraud matters, investigating and taking appropriate action against perpetrators.

Monitor and interpret changes in both housing and regeneration policy and legislation to ensure compliance with statutory duties and the application of the most appropriate statutory powers relating to improvements of housing standards and the safeguarding of vulnerable people living in substandard homes.

To manage the Council's Housing Standards services including Clearance, Home Improvements, Empty Properties, Selective Licensing, HMOs, Enforcement and Healthy Homes services; to ensure that private sector housing programmes are successfully implemented, monitored and delivered on time and within the capital programme budget available and that housing standards across the borough continue to improve.
