We are seeking a reliable Handyman to join our Estates Office team, responsible for maintaining and securing Crossreach Property.
Your role will involve conducting weekly visits to perform security and maintenance checks, ensuring the building remains wind and watertight, and reporting any issues to the Estates Office.
You will also facilitate access for meter readings, water board inspections, emergency services, and occasionally assist with low-level ground maintenance.
We are looking for someone with prior experience in general maintenance or as a tradesperson.
Your role involves ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the service by performing a variety of tasks, such as escorting tradespeople, moving furniture and equipment, and handling maintenance duties including painting, decorating, plumbing, electrical work, joinery, and any other tasks within your skill set.
As our handyperson, you'll be a vital member of the staff team, collaborating with the service manager and senior staff to maintain the building and grounds.
You will provide administrative and secretarial support to the management team and associate psychologists, enabling them to increase value they deliver to the organisation through more effective working practices.
