Credit controller - Hybrid 2 days in the office 3 working from home. Pertemps have a new and exciting opportunity to join our very successful client based in Burton Upon Trent on a full time permanent basis as a Credit controller. Working on a shift rotation of weeks 1-3 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday - Thursday then Friday 8.30 - 4.00pm then week 4 8.00am - 4.00pm Monday - Thursday then Friday 8.00am - 3.00pm. In return a salary of £25,000 - £27,000 depending on experience. The Credit Controller is pivotal is maximising the organisation's cash collection and keeping aged debt to a minimum. What you'll do: Proactively collect debts to maximise cash collection and conduct weekly collections forecasting. Manage the sales ledger accounts and credit limits and record all communications using a bespoke collections system. Raise credit notes and release orders in a timely manner. Liaise with internal teams and answer queries on accounts. What you'll bring: Demonstrable experience working within credit collections or accounts receivable. Experience using SAP systems and Microsoft Office. Proactive self-starter who can work well within a team. Professional experience working within a global organisation is preferred. Accounts Receivable Supervisor Location: Newcastle under Lyme College Permanent 37 hours per week Salary: £26,113 - £27,219 Newcastle & Stafford Colleges Group is financially one of the strongest of its kind in the country with very high success rates, amongst the top 10% nationally. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and suitably qualified individual with excellent communication and organisation skills to take on this role in the Finance department. Reporting directly to the Group Accountant and working alongside a multi-disciplined team, you will be responsible for managing the Group sales position and maintaining the Accounts Receivable Ledger. Duties are varied and include maintaining debtors details on the finance system, including the creation of new accounts and the amendment of customer details, generating accurate invoices to customers on a timely basis and running and critically reviewing the reports on the ACR ledger to identify the Group's debt position. In addition to a good standard of general education you should have completed the CCIM qualification along with previous experience of working in a finance environment. You will have a confident manner with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, excellent MS Office Skills (Word and Excel) and will be able to work efficiently to tight deadlines. Duties and Responsibilities: To identify and undertake the most suitable action in relation to overdue debt. To produce standard debt collection correspondence and to develop case histories, for future reference, by keeping electronic correspondence files for each debtor. To consult with the Group Accountant to develop bespoke collection strategies for debts outside the Colleges standard terms including developing relationships with the customer to ensure satisfactory outcomes. To liaise with departments to improve debt management processes and educate users, including advice on appropriate lines of communication with other organisations. To resolve issues raised by internal and external parties, recommending further action. To lead and supervise the Accounts Receivable Team. To provide cover for the Accounts Payable Supervisor when required. Required Skills and Experience: Has previous experience of working in a finance environment Has completed the CICM qualification. Works with accuracy and pays attention to detail. Has the ability to organise own workload, work to deadlines and manage the sales ledger function What's in it for you?
