My client based in London is looking to bolster their team with a Senior Claims Advocate who can assist with the proactive handling of mainly Professional Indemnity claims in nearly all professions, with some D&O/FI/Med Mal/Cyber, from first advice to file closure.
Role responsibilities
Notifying and communicating with Insurers, Solicitors and Loss Adjusters and having knowledge/control of the claim file so as to best represent the Insured's interests at all times.
Liaising with Producing Brokers throughout the UK via e-mail and telephone to help deliver and maintain our first-class in-house claims service.
Reporting to the Technical Claims Director, you will be a key relationship manager for internal stakeholders and external clients ensuring that the outcomes for major and complex losses support the clients overall strategic objectives.
Primary responsibility will be for revenue generation by means of managing and effectively settling large and complex losses.
This is a remote role and so we welcome applications from candidates anywhere within the UK.
You will be offering assistance to Senior Claims Advocates and Claims Manager as needed.
Maintaining continuous communication with claims colleagues, accounts, and other divisions within the business to ensure timely and accurate production of documentation and maintenance of systems and records.
Effectively managing workload and time to optimise efficiency and meet deadlines and targets.
Management and control of complex Property & Casualty claims.

A large Lloyd's Broker has a fantastic opportunity for someone to join its Claims department handling U.S. Property & Casualty Claims as Claims Advocate
You will be responsible for servicing accounts from 'cradle to grave' for our clients including written and telephone discussions with new and existing clients, renewal administration, preparation of presentations to insurers, negotiating premiums with underwriters together with providing pro-active claims handling service for customers.
We are pleased to be working on behalf of a global specialist insurance provider, who require a Claims Underwriter / Claims Assessor to join their growing income protection group life team in their London office but accommodating primarily remote working if desired.
You will assess income protection claims, and provide support to clients with regards absence management as well as identifying non-valid and fraudulent claims.
Candidates will be responsible for assessing and managing income protection claims through the process.
An opening to join an expanding team joining the team you will be responsible for the claims process from advice through to settlement.
A busy role duties will include maintaining and creating claims files, broking advices and collections to London Market obtaining agreements to advices and collections via London Market systems as well as liaising with the Claims Adjusters, Lawyers, Insurance Accounts Department ensuring prompt payments of claims dealing with market, clients and internal queries conducting business meetings with clients and re-insurers and have a good understanding of central operations.
Experience handling Marine claims would be advantageous however, open to other classes too!
