A large Lloyd's Broker has a fantastic opportunity for someone to join its Claims department handling U.S. Property & Casualty Claims as Claims Advocate
The key responsibilities of the role are:
Management and control of complex Property & Casualty claims
On receipt of claim notification, identify risk, review details in conjunction with coverage/wordings
Prepare claims file accurately and promptly and maintain claims records
Producing claims information and presenting to reinsurers, and dealing with any resultant instructions, queries and enquiries
Monitoring insurers' agreement and payment of funds
Identifying any potential errors and omissions
Reporting any claims difficulties immediately to management
Ensuring relevant insurer's instructions are notified to Client/expert
Ensuring effective liaison and building relationships with Clients, experts, insurers and colleagues
Maintaining claims filing
Keeping up to date with market and system changes
The client is seeking someone who has experience of handling Property & Casualty Claims
The candidate should have excellent numeracy skills, be a strong communicator at all levels and able to work effectively as part of a team.
