This role calls for a talented and dedicated Controls & Instrumentation Engineer, with a strong foundation in the industrial/manufacturing industry, who can expertly manage all aspects related to engineering in the Scotland region. Client Details Our client is a prominent player in the industrial and manufacturing sector, boasting a strong workforce of dedicated professionals. They have established themselves as a reputable brand in their market and continue to provide high-quality engineering solutions from their Scotland sites. Description The Controls and Instrumentation Engineer will support commissioning/validation of new process operations, support existing operational sites, technical troubleshooting of comms/SCADA/software issues, generation of plant documentation & risk assessments, optimisation of plant process parameters, deliver process improvement projects across the sites, training and competence assessment of site staff. The role will over see seven sites within the Scotland region so this role will be 50% travel, 50% home based Manage and monitor the manufacturing processes to ensure optimal performance Process optimisation of plant parameters during verification and ongoing operations Ensure safety standards are adhered to within all engineering operations Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement within the department Manage project deadlines and budgets efficiently Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and advancements Profile A successful 'Controls & Instrumentation Engineer' should have: Degree level qualification in engineering/controls & systems based discipline Knowledge of current health and safety/environmental compliance Experience in delivering process improvement projects Competence in electrical engineering / instrumentation and systems software Experience in plant operations Excellent leadership and management skills Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail An ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines Job Offer A competitive salary of up to £55k per annum A car allowance of £6,000 Generous holiday leave An opportunity to work in a vibrant and dedicated team environment The chance to further your career in a reputable and established industrial / manufacturing company We encourage all suitable candidates looking for a challenging yet rewarding role in the industrial / manufacturing industry to apply today!
