We are currently recruiting for an Information, Advice and Guidance Advisor who can provide support to local unemployed, economically inactive and in work residents and help them progress towards a positive destination (employment, education, training or volunteering).
The role will be to support the UKSPF funded Employment and Skills Project- South Yorkshire, hence their will be a requirement to complete registration paper work with each resident and produce a SMART action plan which helps them to address their barriers to progression.
To create accurate records of 'contacts' to the service in respect of children and young people in need of help or protection by loading time sensitive data in an efficient manner.
To undertake thorough database checks on children and families in response to local authority information requests ensuring that these are completed in a timely and professional manner.
To support the service by screening duty calls from the public and professionals and accurately recording safeguarding concerns.
Expected Duration: 18 months (to achieve Level 3), potential for permanent employment after qualification.
