Part time Income Officer Job Type: Part time - 3 days Location: Central London Salary: Circa £32,311.76 per annum (£19,387.06 FTE 0.6) We are seeking an Income Officer to manage the Accounts Receivables function and lead the accounts process for our organisation. This role is pivotal in ensuring all income is accurately booked or accrued within the month and that balance sheet receivables accounts are reconciled monthly. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining and developing new processes and procedures, particularly within our accounting system, Microsoft Business Central. Day to Day of the Role: Transition income recognition from cash basis to accrual basis. Set up and compare bank/savings platforms for the investment of funds. Develop financial processes and systems for effective financial control and income collection. Raise and book sales invoices in a timely manner. Monitor bank balances and currency requirements, ensuring accurate posting into Dynamics. Reconcile bank accounts and support cash flow monitoring and investment. Investigate and book unidentified income promptly. Ensure sales invoices comply with VAT contract classifications. Reconcile deferred and accrued income balances on the ledger monthly. Communicate with international stakeholders to ensure adherence to income collection processes. Generate and follow up on Aged Debtors reports. Assist with year-end statutory audits and coordinate branch and subsidiary audits. Maintain a strong control environment with complete and accurate accounting records. Provide training on financial policies and procedures, including Microsoft Business Central usage. Offer support to staff and liaise with external software support providers for complex issues. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in Accounts Receivables and income accounting. Strong understanding of financial processes and systems, preferably Microsoft Business Central. Ability to reconcile accounts and manage financial discrepancies. Excellent communication skills for liaising with international stakeholders. Adept at working collaboratively within a finance team and contributing to improvement processes.
