As BES Utilities continues its exciting growth in 2024, we have a new and exciting position available for an IT Service Delivery Manager to join our growing IT shared services team, based within our offices in Trafford Park, Manchester with travel to our Blackpool offices essential on a weekly basis.
Reporting to the IT Director, the position is a key role within the group department as you will oversee the day to day 'Core' and 'Desktop' IT activities overseeing of a small team of 1st and 2nd line technicians.
It is expected that the role will consist mainly of management and not delivery of IT support although you will need to be able to get involved where necessary.
The main purpose of this role is to manage and coach the team and support in all areas.
This is a varied and demanding role working for a large organisation in which you will be working alongside all levels of stakeholders and managing a team of 30.
We are seeking an IT Service Manager for our public sector client based in London on an initial 3 month contract paying up to £540 per day inside IR35.
