Here at Prospero Teaching we are looking to recruit an experienced Teaching Assistant with good knowledge of Y1 Phonics, Y2 and Y6 SATs for group intervention sessions in an Ofsted rated "Good" Primary School in Preston. We are looking for an innovative Teaching Assistant to work closely with Primary pupils giving group intervention sessions across KS1 & KS2. This is a full-time role starting after the Easter break, on the 15th April, and will be required for the summer term initially, with the potential that the role will continue onto the following academic year. You must be able to integrate into a staff team easily and be an encouraging and competent individual who can bring the children up to speed and maximise their success. You will need a relevant qualification to be considered for the role. It is essential that you have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or are willing to pay for a new one at a cost of £45.80. As a teacher in this school, an effective and stimulating approach is desired, alongside the ability to provide plenty of encouragement, support, and communication for the children. I am looking to recruit a diligent teacher who can provide a good understanding of the curriculum alongside an understanding of assessment and differentiation to enable the children to make progress at the best possible rate.
