Position Details:

?? Role: Primary Teaching Assistant

?? Location: PR1

?? Hours: 08:45 - 16:00, Monday - Friday

?? Contract: Ongoing

Key Responsibilities:

?? Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance due to behavioural challenges.

?? Assist the class teacher in managing classroom behaviour and implementing behaviour management strategies.

?? Build positive relationships with students, offering encouragement, empathy, and guidance.

?? Support students in developing social and emotional skills, conflict resolution techniques, and self-regulation strategies.

?? Collaborate with the school's SENCO, teachers, and other staff members to create individualised support plans for students with behavioural needs.

Qualifications and Skills:

?? Previous experience working with children, especially those with behavioural challenges, is desirable.

?? Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.

?? Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude, even in challenging situations.

?? A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of young people.
