We are working with a Manufacturing organisation in the Redditch area who are looking for a Systems Administrator to join them. This is a new role in line with the growth of the organisation. The role is part of a small IT team and will report to an IT Manager who is based at another site. This a predominantly an onsite role providing IT expertise for a manufacturing site, working a 38 hour week around core business hours with an early finish on Friday. As the Systems Administrator you will be in a varied role helping with system support and administration and the ongoing project work at the site. They are looking for someone with a can do attitude and problem solving abilities to cover Deskside, Server and Network areas across Software, Hardware and Applications. The main responsibilities are varied and will involve: Answering calls and responding to emails that go through our helpdesk to support internal and external users, making sure that their experience with our IT systems is as smooth running as possible. Administrating a multi-site Microsoft Windows virtualised network environment. Securing, managing and monitoring servers, work stations & IOT devices within all our facilities. Developing new business processes and creating the required documentation. Documenting the current infrastructure and processes within the business. Project managing key IT projects, ensuring they run on time and to budget. As an IT Systems Analyst you will be working as part of a team reporting into the IT Manager, supporting, maintaining, and developing the current core network and infrastructure across the business.
