IT Service Operations Manager London Remote 12-18 months £360 Inside Working with a direct team of three, line manager and a large IT professional services company supporting with a large data centre migration. The responsibilities will include supporting on all BAU duties such as major incidents, outages, governance, and problem/change management. There will be lots of internal and external stakeholder management so strong communication and problem-solving skills are key. As an IT Service Operations Manager, you will oversee and govern the outcomes of core Service Integration and Management (SIAM) disciplines. Your primary objective is to ensure the delivery of high-quality services in line with agreed SLAs and KPIs, through effective management of both partner-provided resources and internal teams. You will also act as a Major Incident Manager for high-profile incidents, driving resolution through effective leadership and coordination. Proven experience in Major Incident Management and leading hybrid teams. Expertise in working with third-party support teams and strategic partners. Familiarity with ITIL methodologies and operating in a multi-partner IT environment. Experience in the retail sector. Strong knowledge of infrastructure and application technologies, including Microsoft Azure. Proficiency with operational tools such as Service Now & New Relic. Information Security Delivery Manager Banking Hybrid: London 2-3 days per week Initially until March 2025 £700 per day In short: Delivery Manager with Information / Cyber Security experience required to deliver a DLP pilot, Risk Management Solution implementation and PM support to the wider Security team. In full: The person in this position will be responsible for all aspects of the project management activities for the Information Security Team. This includes, but is not limited to, budget, resource, schedule, risks and issues management. The role involves running project meetings, managing stakeholders, reporting on project status and escalating to management as appropriate. Due to the nature of work, the person in this role will be required to manage against tight time pressures on all domains of Information Security. Background This is a key role to support the Security Change Program Manager in the ITSD Security and Operations Team supporting in all aspect of Project Management activities for the team. Must have effective and positive relationships with both business users across EMEA as well within IT globally in driving the Security Change Programme. The role is responsible for ensuring that medium to large scale projects are efficiently managed and delivered in line with schedule and cost expectations. The role requires working with minimum supervision and guidance and has primary responsibility for project delivery. The incumbent should monitor the project for issues and risks and attempt to resolve, escalating when appropriate. Providing accurate and detailed reporting to management, the Project Manager understands the key business drivers and uses this knowledge to ensure project quality. Accountabilities Develop Security project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility Support to monitor progress, risks and issues of the overall Security Change Programme. Presenting project status and progress to senior audiences, up to and including C level Experience required Good knowledge and experience of Cyber Security principles. Experience of delivering cyber security projects in a regulated corporate environment, preferably Financial Services. Demonstrable expertise in a project management role. Experience in working with a complex matrix of business SMEs & IT teams. Good Knowledge of the MS-Office suite including MS Project experience. Ability to analyse and describe a 'problem' simply and clearly. Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) Well organised and structured in work output. Experience of working at a senior level in a customer facing role. Basic level understanding of Payments and Compliance business areas.
