IT Service Operations Manager

IT Service Operations Manager | London Remote | 12-18 months | £360 Inside

Working with a direct team of three, line manager and a large IT professional services company supporting with a large data centre migration. The responsibilities will include supporting on all BAU duties such as major incidents, outages, governance, and problem/change management. There will be lots of internal and external stakeholder management so strong communication and problem-solving skills are key.

As an IT Service Operations Manager, you will oversee and govern the outcomes of core Service Integration and Management (SIAM) disciplines. Your primary objective is to ensure the delivery of high-quality services in line with agreed SLAs and KPIs, through effective management of both partner-provided resources and internal teams. You will also act as a Major Incident Manager for high-profile incidents, driving resolution through effective leadership and coordination.

  • Proven experience in Major Incident Management and leading hybrid teams.
  • Expertise in working with third-party support teams and strategic partners.
  • Familiarity with ITIL methodologies and operating in a multi-partner IT environment.
  • Experience in the retail sector.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure and application technologies, including Microsoft Azure.
  • Proficiency with operational tools such as Service Now & New Relic.

Qualifications:

  • ITIL® v4 Foundation or above.
  • Degree in a computing-related subject.
