Job title: Technical Administrator Location: Ansty Park, Pilot Way, Coventry, CV79JU Duration: 12 months Hourly pay rate: £14.63 Working hours: Monday - Friday between 8am - 5pm Start date: ASAP Recruitment process: telephone pre-screen with Reed, onsite interview with Cadent Gas The role holder will be accountable for: Creating case files for each individual MPRN cases to ensure clear concise audit trail Identify where shipper/supplier theft has occurred and raise case on external system for investigation Contacting customers to schedule work and ensure they understand what is required. Highly organised with attention to detail. Able to use all required systems to obtain information to aid the job instructions and completion of right first time. Interrogate external systems to check supplier registrations Ensuring and promoting compliance with Cadent policies, standards and procedures with accountability for effective resolution of any non-compliances identified, including supporting any reviews and investigations as required. Working with other teams to resolve customer queries or able to escalate where required. Calculation of reads for revenue recovery Calculate cost letter for each individual customer with defined calculations Creation of invoice to send through to finance to agree a payment plan for customers Investigate allegations of unregistered gas usage Able to interrogate multiple systems to investigate errors/anomalies and provide solutions, remedial actions and root cause analysis. Working with other teams to resolve customer queries or able to escalate where required. The ideal candidate for this assignment will: We are looking for individuals who have the below qualities: Competent in the use of Microsoft Office desktop packages. Ability to use other core systems (SAP, ClickSoftware). Ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally. Able to multi-task with a high-level approach to problem solving. Demonstrating strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and customers Comply with required H&S standards at all times reducing risks to colleagues, customers and stakeholders. Long term temporary to permanent Buyer based in Rugby Temp £16.83 per hour with possibility of going permanent £35,000 per annum fully office based. One of my well-established rail infrastructure clients based in Rugby are looking to recruit a Buyer, this will be a long temp to perm role. You will be responsible for purchasing of spares and management of the supplier base for non-strategic purchases of products and services for Rail Grinding/ Rail Milling. The role supports the procurement function and is responsible for the inventory management and supply of materials and services required to support the maintenance and operation of the rail grinding fleet on time and to budget. The post holder will have responsibility for ensuring compliance with business governance, and that all mandatory and company 'Safety, Quality & Environmental' standards are implemented and adhered to. The role: Management of data for stock items, including lead time, cost, primary and secondary supplier, setting maximum and minimum levels alongside other key information Material quotes & Purchase requisitions are raised in a timely manner. Ensure that stock is ordered promptly following usage to avoid stockouts. The client's FAMS system is kept up to date with product purchases and stock holding. Maximise availability of material whilst minimising stock levels & aligned with stock holding levels. Maintaining high levels of accuracy through stocktakes. Ensuring key items have the correct level of stock available at all times. Escalating any persistent supplier performance issues to the Procurement Team Reorder supplier details are updated on the business system. The repairable float is managed throughout the supply chain & business system. Warranties and rejections are managed with the rail grinding engineers through to conclusion. Develop, implement, and maintain accurate warehouse document control to satisfy audit criteria. Work with internal stakeholders to establish KPIs required by Colas Rail Ltd. Compliance with ISO 9001 and 14001 Quality and Environmental procedures. Work closely with finance to ensure budget targets are met. To work safely with due regard to their own and other people's well-being. At all times wear personal protective equipment appropriate to the tasks being carried out. Comply with all local and company rules or instructions on safety matters. Participate in a positive manner in all company safety initiatives. Attend safety briefing sessions as required by the company. Present themselves for duty promptly and fit to carry out their duties as required by the company policy and procedures. Co-ordination of all overhauled equipment to support rail grinding fleet engineering maintenance From time to time if the need arises be prepared to lodge away from home for a limited period in order fulfil business requirements. When driving company vehicles, do so within the bounds of the Highway Code and any appropriate company instructions or procedures. Background: You must have p revious s tores/warehouse procedures knowledge & experience as well as stock control. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills will make you the ideal candidate. Experience in the use material management functions on the business system is essential. Advanced Microsoft office skills, in particular Microsoft Excel Knowledge of quality systems and management In possession of a clean road vehicle driving license Experience of managing and developing staff. You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as good negotiation skills and an analytical mind. You will be able to work safely and under you own initiative without supervision as well possessing a structured methodical approach to problem solving.
