We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Manager to oversee all HR departmental areas, ensuring company compliance with employment regulations, accepted professional standards, policies and procedures, and the development of people and culture, as well as managing company payroll. This varied and interesting standalone HR role will involve you in all levels, from HR admin to high-level strategic work. Key Responsibilities: Manage all core HR areas including payroll, employee relations, HR admin, learning and development, internal recruitment, and employee engagement. Provide strategic advice on work priorities, budget, and staff resources. Ensure compliance with current regulations, including data protection, the Equality Act, and health and safety legislation. Implement and manage employment policies. Maintain best practices in employment law, HR policy, and workforce development. Oversee a professional onboarding process to expedite new hires' integration. Develop HR strategy with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and manage its execution. Advise on and report HR objectives and progress. Guide HR support staff to meet professional standards. Enhance employee engagement and welfare activities, maximize productivity, and build leadership capability. Identify HR trends and direct resources accordingly. Additional Responsibilities: Identify staffing needs and create job descriptions and handbooks. Develop and implement management talent planning. Support future growth by developing the organisational structure using best practice principles. Manage employee programmes, benefits, and performance reviews. Coach and mentor colleagues to identify strengths and development needs. Monitor and manage employee training and development plans. Oversee offboarding processes to ensure fair treatment. Manage HR budgets and internal communications. Champion company values and leadership behaviour framework. Foster a high-performance ethic focused on successful outcomes. Develop and maintain effective relationships to encourage retention and ensure team representation in decision-making. Knowledge & Experience: CIPD Level 5 or equivalent Strong understanding of all HR areas including recruitment, employee relations, workforce administration, payroll, and learning and development. Proven leadership experience and the ability to drive collaboration and strong working relationships. Capability to accept and provide feedback, assert ideas confidently, and work well under pressure. Proficiency in understanding HR statistical reports and driving KPIs. Ability to make quick, rational decisions and think innovatively. Salary Range & Benefits: The salary for this HR Manager role is competitive, ranging from £35,000 to £45,000, commensurate with experience. We're excited to be recruiting for a HR Advisor to join a leading organisation based in Accrington, offering hybrid working and covering a 12-month fixed term contract. You will be joining an organisation with real purpose and committed to putting their people first. All ensuring a supportive and collaborative culture and working environment. Core to this role will involve managing ER caseload within a set region. Along with proactively managing the ER caseload there's further opportunity to be involved in delivering management training sessions with the HRBPs, both online and face to face. You will also take responsibility for monitoring right to work for the regions, maintenance of HR policies and be involved in monthly reporting. Whilst providing remote support to the region, you will build close working relationships with the managers and become a trusted partner through coaching, mentoring and supporting managers and their teams. Pre-empting situations and supporting with projects including change initiatives. Not only will you be working in a culture which is supportive, you will personally feel supported and part of the HR team and committed to ensuring you develop and progress during this 12-month contract.
