Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Senior HR Consultant for a Local Authority Client based in East London. In this role, you will lead a team of HR professionals to provide high-quality, advice and support on HR policies and procedures, driving effective people management and resolving complex HR issues. About the role: You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives: Manage a team within the HR Advice and Consultancy service to provide consistent and high-quality advice on HR policies and procedures. Coach and support team members to deliver consistent and accurate advice. Monitor and recommend improvements to HR policies and procedures to ensure they are current and effective. Manage a portfolio of cases, including grievances, disciplinary actions, capability issues, sickness, organisational changes, job evaluations, and TUPE transfers. About you: The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience: Strong understanding of employee relations, relevant employment legislation, HR policies and procedures, and current HR trends. Experience in leading and managing a team within an HR environment. Experience in leading and implementing change projects in large, diverse organisations.
