We are seeking a dedicated HR Advisor to join this company in Newcastle upon Tyne. The HR Advisor will report to the Head of HR and will support an employee base of 200 in all areas of HR. Key Responsibilities: Employee and Manager Support: Provide timely and effective responses to employee and manager queries, ensuring a high level of satisfaction. Policy Guidance: Advise managers on HR policies, ensuring all procedures are compliant and consistently applied. Formal Meeting Support: Assist managers in conducting formal meetings, ensuring fair and reasonable processes are followed at all times. Absence and Case Management: Monitor and review employee absence and ongoing casework, taking appropriate actions to address issues promptly. Documentation: Ensure all HR processes are meticulously documented, maintaining accuracy and compliance. Performance Improvement: Support managers with performance improvement initiatives and employee engagement strategies. Data Analysis: Monitor and review KPI data, identifying trends and areas for improvement to drive organizational success. Recruitment: Manage recruitment activities, including job advertising, liaising with recruiters, assisting with interviews, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new starters. Occupational Health Compliance: Oversee compliance with occupational health requirements, including clinic scheduling and referral processing. Employee Wellbeing: Promote initiatives that enhance employee wellbeing and engagement. Communication: Produce and publish engaging employee communications to keep the workforce informed and motivated. Policy Review: Contribute to the review and improvement of HR policies and procedures. Project Implementation: Assist with the execution of HR projects that support organizational growth and efficiency. Administrative Support: Handle various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the HR department. What's in your DNA/Experience Needed? Previous experience of working as an HR Advisor (ideally minimum 1 years advisor experience) Experience of dealing with ER issues Experience working in a fast-paced HR environment, with the ability to prioritise effectively Ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels, cross-functionally Approachable, reliable and attentive Well organised and proactive Excellent communicator

The role of Human Resource Advisor will provide a professional generalist HR service and support to allocated business areas, working within a busy, fast moving environment as part of an experienced HR team. The HR Advisor role is responsible for all employee relations casework within allocated business areas ensuring that Company policy and procedures are followed and to actively contribute to effective business performance and the HR Strategic Plan through implementation and delivery of a commercially focused people plan for allocated business areas. To produce a high standard of comprehensive written correspondence relating to all aspects of case management along with possessing the skills to create appropriate ad hoc letters as required Provide support and advice to managers for managing people matters along with the management of employee relations cases. HR or Business qualification or equivalent relevant experience is essential Excellent written and verbal communication Microsoft office skills , including MS Teams, outlook, word and excel Demonstrable ability to influence and advise in accordance with the business HR policy,procedure, strategy or vision Minimum of 2 years' experience in a HR generalist role or equivalent qualification Able to demonstrate Employee Relations case management experience including Disciplinary, Grievance, Performance, Redundancy, Medical Capability casework. HR and record management systems skills You will be; Highly organised, logical with a practical approach and able to prioritise Ability to build, develop and maintain supportive and constructive working relationships Approachable, good listener Act with integrity, honesty and discretion.
