The Assistant Housing Officer will be responsible for ensuring that cost effective, and value for money services are delivered on local Housing estates, as well as improving the service provision to the customers.

This role requires in-depth knowledge of housing legislation, and experience working closely with members of the public.

Support the work of the Deputy Group Director and Heads including secretarial and administrative support as appropriate.
We are looking for a benefits assistant to To provide admin support in the administration of Housing Benefit, Council Tax Reduction, and Discretionary Hardship Payments schemes.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative, including prioritising of own workload to meet required deadlines.
You will have good communication skills, both written and oral along with good numeracy skills.
