Client: A rapidly expanding, private equity-backed hospitality and real estate business, currently focusing on significant growth. With an investment budget of £100 million aimed at further expansion and an eventual exit strategy, the company holds a portfolio of commercial properties, including hotels, pubs, and bars. Recent acquisitions include properties from major competitors such as Whitbread/Premier Inn. Role: Management Accountant Location: Teddington, UK (4 days per week in office) Contract Type: Three-month contract, with potential for extension and a permanent position. Start Date: ASAP Rate: £250-£350 per day Key Responsibilities: Take full ownership of the monthly reporting cycle, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Oversee CapEx reporting on investments, providing detailed analysis and insights. Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, including the CFO, Property Director, and Marketing Director, to relay financial information accurately and effectively. Support the business in integrating newly acquired properties, ensuring seamless financial management and reporting. Participate in strategic planning and financial forecasting to support the company's growth objectives. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards. Qualifications and Experience: Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA/ equivalent or QBE). Proven experience as a management accountant, ideally within the hospitality or real estate sectors. Strong understanding of financial reporting, CapEx management, and investment analysis. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders. Hands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
