Class 1 Driver Days Salary: £35,510.28 PA £2,959.16 per month £136.58 per day Shift: Mon - Fri, 50hrs/wk Overtime: Enhanced rate Contract: Permanent What Goldstar can offer you: Safe & Secure working environment Guaranteed monthly salary Overtime availability - at Enhanced rates Full Uniform and PPE provided In House App for booking holiday and logging Overtime Driver CPC Training Covid Secure workplace Main duties/ responsibilities: Operating commercial vehicles Load and unload goods Manual work Making sure loads are safely secured Following traffic reports and adapting routes if necessary Carrying out basic routine maintenance Completing delivery paperwork, PDA, Walk around check or any documentation Following the compliance, tacho master and other regulations and laws that are applicable Technical Skills: A valid HGV license Knowledge of transportation laws and regulations Ability to operate HGVs safely and efficiently Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair Familiarity with GPS systems and other tracking devices The successful candidate will: Be present with a Positive and Can-do attitude Be flexible and reliable Minimum 2 years experience of driving C1 Have great communication skills Be able to provide clean basic Criminal Record Check prior to start date (obtained within 10 weeks) Provide a full 5-year checkable history Hold a Clean Driving Licence (If the position requires it) Hold valid DQC and up to date CPC
